The past three decades have witnessed a major revolution in the field of infertility, in terms of both diagnostic capabilities and of advances in overcoming the multitude of reasons why the process of conception fails to take place. Nothing has been more central to this revolution than diagnostic ultrasound. The editors, including Dr. Steven R. Goldstein, have assembled a team of leading experts to cover a broad range of infertility topics, from the old and proven – such as hysterosalpingography – to the latest and cutting edge – such as sonohysterography and sonosalpingography.
